“The Window” is a standing object with an open concept. The figure is not completely confined within its tower, but builds a wall with only a small window to the outside world. From certain perspectives, the figure may appear trapped, unable to see a way out when looking only through the opening. Yet, in reality, it remains exposed to the world around it, suggesting the contrast between perceived isolation and the possibilities for connection. As with all works following this theme, this object was manufactured using hammering techniques such as chasing, raising and planishing. Finally, the coloration was achieved through patination.
